Careers
In order to give students the opportunity to reach their full potential all students follow a structured and timetabled programme of Enrichment activities and Careers events.
We are fortunate to have the support of prominent and successful local businesses, who are happy to work alongside us to ensure that our students have the skills, experience and attitude employers’ value.
Activities include – Enterprise and entrepreneurial skills through our business activity, employability and resilience skills through our job application and interview scheme, a mentoring programme, debating, personal safety and life skills in collaboration with local advisers and professionals. Alongside this we have timetabled careers events including attending the Higher Education Convention at the University of East Anglia, bespoke lectures from Apprenticeship providers and training centres, Gap Year organisations and the voluntary sector, and subject specific guest lectures.
To complement our student support we also have an evening dedicated to informing parents / carers on the application process and funding arrangements for university.
